Visitation School will host its inaugural 5k Run/1 Mile run/walk. It will be a fun, family oriented community event that will be enjoyed for years to come. Funds raised from the event will benefit Visitation School. This event will provide a much needed source of revenue that will help pay for such things as Technology, Differentiated Learning Program and Essential Learning System Program. In addition, a percentage of profits will go to Alexandra’s House, A Charitable Perinatal Hospice and Infant refuge.
Visitation, a community of communities, is committed to a way of life based on Christ’s teaching and our Catholic tradition by being dedicated to lifelong conversation in faith, healing sanctuary in our sacraments and relationships, an educational environment for our children which emphasizes Catholic values and is committed to excellence, awareness and responsiveness to the needs of our neighbors and our society. In 2010, Visitation School was selected by the U.S. Department of Education as a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence.
Our event will include a timed 5K run, 1 mile fun run/walk, breakfast, mini ruckus and other family fun activities. We look forward to seeing you and celebrating all of our moms!!
